When strict regulatory regulations require Non Destructive Testing or when client driven safety protocols require a third party inspector. Let our mobile inspectors come to you. we are ready to respond. Penetrant Testing Our inspectors are trained in Penetrant Testing (PT) which is a low cost test used to locate inherent, processing or detecting service discontinuities in nonporous materials (surface cracks). Our inspectors are trained in the theoretical aspects of the Penetrant Testing. Visual Testing Regulatory and Client driven requirements at times require independent competent Third Party Visual Testing (VT). Our Inspectors are certified and apply their practices of inspection in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and NAS-410. Magnetic Particle Testing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is done by inducing a magnetic field in a ferro-magnetic material and dusting the surface with iron particles (either dry or suspended in a liquid). Surface imperfections will allow the magnetic field to leak out of the part, distort the magnetic field and concentrate the iron particles near the imperfection, thus indicating their presence. Magnetic Particle Testing (or Magnaflux as it is sometimes called) uses magnetic leakage fields to detect surface and near surface cracks and discontinuities. We can perform these test in remote areas with our equipment allowing for a cost effect process and allowing repairs to be completed in the field. We come to you. Ultrasonic Testing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) uses high frequency sound waves between the range of .5 and 15 MHz in survey inspections, examinations to take quantified measurements. It's ability to use sound waves and see flaws that cannot be seen by the naked eye make it an exceptional engineering tool to detect cracks and flaws. In most cases a reflected wave or pulse echo system is used is used as it only requires to one side of the object being inspected. Our inspectors will conduct precision thickness gauging, flaw detection and evaluation in addition angle beam and in some cases immersion testing. Our Inspectors are certified and apply their practices of inspection in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and NAS-410. |
